The Varsity Water Polo Team has concluded their last three regular season games, but their journey isn’t finished yet as they advance to the North Coast Sections (NCS) for the first time in four long years.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the Dons celebrated Senior Night in a matchup against the College Park Falcons, ending with a score of 2-23. Seniors Rocco Fraioli and Sam Whipple each scored the team’s only two goals as was fitting. Despite the score, it was a memorable night for the seniors who have dedicated four years to revitalizing the Boys Water Polo Program.
On Friday, October 25, 2024, the Dons triumphed over San Marin with a close score of 11-9. This hard-fought win secured the Dons’ spot in the NCS playoffs.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Dons faced off against the Campolindo Cougars. Given the size, experience, and strength of the Campo team, the outcome was anticipated, but the Dons still fought valiantly, managing to score three goals before losing 20-3.
The Dons are now focused on preparing for their first-round NCS match versus Marin Catholic, which is set to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at San Domenico High School in San Anselmo.
