September 17, 2024: In a water polo showdown for the ages, the Acalanes Men’s Varsity Water Polo Team swam their way to a jaw-dropping 18 to 5 triumph over the Dublin High School Gaels! While the score might scream “blowout,” don’t be fooled—this match was a nail-biter packed with slick plays and top-notch teamwork. 

Sophomore superstar Isaac Topp was a steal machine, snagging an impressive 4 steals! Hot in his wake were juniors Thomas Parrott and Nico Roig, along with freshman Alex Lavoire, each with 2 steals of their own.  

Scoring glory was shared among Parrott, sophomore Will Miller, and freshman Peter Endemann, who each netted 3 goals, while Roig and Lavoire added 2 more to the tally. And let’s not forget the rest of the crew—seniors Rocco Fraioli, Justin Rosenblat, and Sam Whipple, junior Mason Schlehr, and freshman Owen Andre, each contributed a goal to the party! None of this would have been possible without Roig, Miller, Topp, Andre and Charlie Holmes who lended 2 aquatic assists each.

In the goalie department, sophomore Fisher Bradford-Urban was a wall, dishing out 3 assists and blocking a mind-blowing 7 shots, sealing the deal for the Dons.
