JV Dons Football Dominates Mt. Diablo with a 43-0 Win!!

The JV Dons start the 2024 football season 2-0 with a huge win over Mt. Diablo. The stats for this game are almost unbelievable! Dons defense held Mt. Diablo to only 12 offensive yards the entire game. And even though the Dons possessed the ball for only 8:34 minutes, they still scored 43 points! Let’s get some details on the players that made this possible…

All smiles from Overall Player of the Game #3 Grant Condy who scored 26 points against Mt. Diablo! Condy started the Dons scoring when he picked up a shanked punt and scored an 11-yard TD. Condy then had 3 receptions from #9 Rocco Stassi totaling 86 yards that all resulted in TOUCH DOWNS! Condy also had a 2-pt conversion to end the first half. Oh, he had an interception on defense too!

None of the TDs could have happened without Offensive Player of the Game was #9 Rocco Stassi who executed his passes to Condy with precision. Stassi completed 4 out of 6 passes for a total of 86 yards.

Defensive Player of the Game #55 Cash Ricker had  4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 4 tackles for loss and 2.5 Sacks for -30 yards. What a game!

#22 Bryce Mansour rushed for 64 yards and scored a touchdown for the Dons to end the 3rd Quarter.

#16 Paul Bacon had 38 rushing yards and scored the Dons final touchdown to end the game!

Special Teams Player of the Game #33 Luke Dafferner had 2 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, and 2 tackles for a loss.

#12 Shea Stahl keeps his calm as he scores 5 of 5 extra points, and shows up big on defense with 1 solo tackle, 4 assisted tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, and an assisted sack.

A final shout out to the Dons defense that completely STOPPED Mt. Diablo in their tracks. The following players also had tackles throughout the game: # 13 Brady Beeman, #15 Curtis Sanders, #77 Danny Dunne, #52 Oliver MacLeod, #31 Hugo Perez, #28 Karsten Harmeyer, #19 AJ Del Santo and #16 Paul Bacon.
