The Lady Dons opened league play early this season thanks to the new expanded DAL League format. On Tuesday it was a home game against Las Lomas who came in 4-3 on the season. After a slow start the Dons stretched the lead to 25 to 5 end of 1. At halftime it was 54 to 10 Dons. The girls coasted the rest of the way slowing the game down the entire 4th quarter for a comfortable 93 to 14 victory.
Sophie Chinn lead the way with 25 points and endless steals, Ariana Hallstrom scored 18, Dulci Vail added 17, KK Lacanale and Natalie Frechman both scored 10 and Cameron Thornton had 8 points. Both Addi Ames and Emme Seelenbacher did a solid job on the boards and provided nice rim protection inside.
The girls are home again today for a non-league game against San Leandro at 7pm.
