FRESHMAN BOYS BASKETBALL CRUSH VINTAGE IN HOME OPENER 73-32

The Freshman Dons Boys Basketball team started the season with new coaches (Head Coach Nate Shipley and Assistant Coach Scott Farrell) and an impressive win over the Vintage Crushers.

The Frosh Dons set the tone in the first quarter outscoring the Crushers 23-10 and ending the first half 38-22.  The defense kicked into high gear in the third quarter shutting out Vintage 17-0 and never looked back finishing with a 41 point route.

It was a huge team effort.

A total of 13 players scored, led by Bryce Mansour, Ben Mickelson and Sam Phillips with 10, Connor Eun with 8 and Jon MacLeod with 7.  The team had 19 assists by 9 different players led by Connor Eun with 4 and Jackson Boselli and Ben Mickelson with 3 each.  The Dons had 20 steals between 11 players, Justice Hembrador and Ben Mickelson each with 3.  Finally 12 players pulled down 28 rebounds led by Jon MacLeod 8, Ben Mickelson 4 and Sam Phillips 3.  

This Frosh team is one to watch!
