The Freshman Dons took on Livermore High School last Thursday and walked away with their fourth straight WIN! And if winning wasn’t enough, the Dons shutout Livermore 40-0 — Let’s GOOOOO!!!
The Acalanes offense powered through Livermore’s porous defense and scored 40 unreturned points. QB Tyler Winkles had teammates ready to put points up for the Dons! Offensive standouts for this game:
Jackson Boselli could not be stopped by Livermore! He had one touch down, two two-point conversions, and two first downs among his many stand out plays at wide receiver.
Drew Asadorian had seven carries on offense and impressive tackles on defense as well!
Bryce Mansour turns the corner on defender and scores the first running TD of the year for the Dons!
AJ Hastings had some big plays to help out the Dons offense.
The Usual Suspects (Finn Rivera and Grant Condy) could not be stopped either! Rivera had two touch downs and a two-point conversion. Condy had a touch down and a two-point conversion.
Once again, the Dons Defense showed up HUGE and prevented Livermore from scoring altogether!
Shoutout to Camden Sinha, Danny Dunne (x2) and Cash Ricker for their QB sacks. These defensive Dons applied the pressure against Livermore!
Max Trexler is all smiles after multiple tackles for the Dons!
The following defenders made big plays helping the Dons stop Livermore’s offense in their tracks: Luke Dafferner; Jasper Stewart (with tackles and a fumble recovery); Sam Phillips; Austin McMcmanamon; Shea Stahl; Jimmy Cusumano; Ben Michelson; and Zachary Birrell.
We hope to see all the fans come out to support the Freshman Dons this Thursday at Acalanes!
