While only a scrimmage, the Dons were ready for this rematch against College Park.  Game 1 started strong with deep serves by Nick P, a well-placed poke by Monty and a one-handed stuff by Trey.  The Dons stunning serving streak continued with Joe T., Robby, Brendan supported by Ben Jo & Sean Lin vacuuming up balls in the back court. A huge highlight was Jack W.’s perfect pass to Trey who then set it back to him for a monster middle hit.  Aggressive net play continued with outside hits by Rohan and Brendan and a confidant Isaac Paul who put the ball away with a one-handed block.  

Back row action continued in Game 2 with digs by Noah and Joey M. along with some outstanding outside hits by Zach.  Just to get in their heads, Joey M. crushed a serve before the whistle blew but followed it up with an equally dangerous one once play started.  Nick P. was awesome at the net,  Brendan’s sweet dish caught College Park unaware and Monty scored a spectacular point for the Dons with a hit deep into back court. The team looks ready for peak performance at the De La Salle tournament this weekend!
