On Wednesday the Dons traveled to Alameda to take on the 5th seed Hornets. A nice crowd made the trip as well to support the Dons while Alameda sported a large home crowd, including a band, which made for a festive atmosphere. The Dons kept it close in tightly contested first half despite some hot shooting from their opponent, and trailed by 12 at the break. The Dons made a nice run to cut it to 6 halfway through the 3rd, but eventually the length and shooting of the Hornets allowed them to pull away for the win. Jake Davis led the scoring with 11, Theo Stoll added 10, and Jack Bayless added 8. It was great to see all the seniors score in their final game as Dons, with Noah Bloch at 7, Levi Rudin with 5, Tate Nelson with a 3, and Taran Krishnan with 2. Thanks to all the seniors and good season Dons!
