History was made Saturday against College Park with the 300th win for Paul Curtis’ career as head coach of Acalanes! Coach lead the team to a 4-0 victory with goals from Jonny Roth assisted by Eli Roth. Daniel Adri, Jimmy Hutson and Eli Roth also scored with Goalie, Jake Boselli getting “Man of the Match.”
Thursday night was a tense game with Campolindo rivals. Back line showed stellar defense. We had many Don’s fans come out to support which paid off with the win of 1-0, goal from Freshman, Jonny Roth assisted by Liam McGlynn. Congrats to Aiden Nelson for “Man of the Match.”

Junior Varsity Boys Update
Our JV Dons faced off against cross town rivals Campolindo on Thursday with a 2-0 victory. With a full team back on the field the Dons were able to dominate possession for a majority of the game with many shots on goal. Acalanes kept the pressure on and was finally able to convert with 2:10 left in the second half when Ben Reinsberg put away a composed goal from a beautiful pass from Zach Murdin. The Dons were gifted another goal during stoppage time as Camplindo’s back line wasn’t able to clear a pass out of the box.
Saturday, Acalanes faced off against College Park coming away with a 1-0 victory. The Dons came out strong with junior Ben Reinsberg setting the tone for the game with a quick shot on goal barely missing only minutes into the game. Acalanes worked hard and scored in the 12th minute of the first half with a header goal by Lucian Krage Zillas.

Freshman Boys Update
Frosh soccer team continued their winning ways with a dominating performance against Campo defeating the Cougars 6-1.
