Clayton Valley ‘fumbles’ as the Dons stay undefeated! League record now: 8-0

The Clayton Valley Ugly Eagles came to the 94549 with a strong desire to beat the Dons. The Ugly Eagles have only lost one game in League play this season and that was to the Dons. Clayton Valley made an attempt to seek revenge by scoring the first points of the game, but that did not last long.

Much like in basketball, playing football requires a combination of  strength agility, speed and concentration. After the Dons picked up their pace and they started to score their touchdowns baskets. The Dons racked up 23 points in the first quarter and that score kept on climbing. By halftime Acalanes had gathered 50 points and CV with 25. Everyone played, together the Dons won. The Dons beat the Ugly Eagles, 73-44.

There’s no other way around it, Miller Smith was awfully good Friday night against Clayton Valley. It’s Miller Time! (No this is not a Super Bowl ad) Smith had four 3 pointers, contributed to giving clean passes to players to score, and forced the Ugly Eagles on defense to crumble. Smith ended the game as the high scorer of the game with 26 points. Smith’s Sports Agent grandfather stated with a smile, ‘Miller is hot tonight!’

George Kittle Jack Bayless is the total package, and when see him play, you’ll know why. Bayless can be counted on in the clutch to make a big play, drive it down the middle or just simply sink it from any angle to score. Bayless put 23 on the scoreboard for the Dons.

Jennifer Lopez called up Justin Zegarowski after the game to ask him to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show with her. Zeg had the right moves: dancing through the Ugly Eagles, quick footwork and some pretty smooth gliding to the end zone hoop. Zeg was a rockstar in plain sight!

The Ugly Eagles could not make many first downs baskets. Defensively with Bennett Dodge and Bayless collected most of the interceptions rebounds for the Dons. Coco Gannon shuffling and staying low on defense cause the Ugly Eagles to punt panic and caused many turnovers. Frosh defense is hard for any team to penetrate in any game.
