On Tuesday, the Dons traveled to Oakland to talk on Bishop O’Dowd High School at Merritt College and lost a close match in the heat 6-3. On the singles side, Liza Sokolova lost 6-2, 6-1 at Line 1, Audrey Tseng had an impressive 6-3, 6-2 win at Line 2, Jasmine Taylor lost 6-1, 6-3 at Line 3, Emery Stern lost 6-3, 6-1 at Line 4, Louie Kubas lost 6-2, 6-2 at Line 5, and Carissa Penn won 6-3, 6-2 at Line 6. On the doubles side, Grace Colaco and Sadie Moise narrowly lost in a third set tiebreaker 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-8) at Line 1, Riley Zirkel and Hetty Lofting won 6-3, 6-3 at Line 2, and Gemma Satterfield and Maddie Obertello lost 6-2, 6-3 at Line 3. In the extended matches, Delphine Fisher won 8-1 in singles, and Livvy Lewis and Tatum Duff won 8-5 in doubles.
