Sophomore Borna “Legend” Koopah is leading the stats so far this season with an incredible 17 Goals scored, 10 Assists, 5 Steals, and 3 Ejections Drawn – and he was also MaxPreps “Player of the Game” twice last week.  Sophomore Brecken Roberts was also “Player of the Game” (against Encinal), as he has raked in 8 Goals, 2 Assists, 1 Steal, and 2 Ejections Drawn.  The team Steals leader is Senior Isaac “Cat Burglar” Topp, who has already amassed 8 Steals this season along with his 5 Goals and 4 Assists.  Other impressive performances last week included Sophomore Gunnar Grant (5 Goals, 3 Assists, 6 Steals);  Junior Alex Lavoie (4 Goals, 5 Assists, 4 Steals);  Senior Will Miller (4 Goals, 3 Assists, 2 Steals); Senior Thomas Butler-Kurimai (3 Goals); Junior Max Musch (3 Goals); and Junior Charlie Holmes, Freshman Timothy Ginn, & Freshman Dylan Pierce each with 2 Goals.  Senior Goalie Fisher “The Barrier” Bradford-Urban continues to guard the net for his third and final year as Acalanes #1 Goalie.  Ranked #16 in the entire Nation for the 2025 season, Fisher appears ready to beat that record in 2026 with 16 saves and 3 steals already on his record from just last week alone.  Freshman Goalie 1A Will Aliano is also gaining impressive early numbers with 8 saves and unquestionably strong net presence.

The new coaching team of Jake Norton, Kyle Rosenblatt, and Connor Mattox are bringing an excitement and a passion to this years Team and have focused both the Defense and Offense in a way that is going to astound all opponents this season.  Come watch them in action yourself this Wednesday 9/2 at 6pm vs. Tamalpais, or this Thursday 9/3 at 7pm vs Alhambra.  The Tamalpais game promises to be an exciting battle, so head on down to the pool on Wednesday and bring your best AC Cheer!
