Led by Senior Aidan Bodner’s 21 points, the Dons cruised by the Alumni 77-54 on Wednesday night in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The Dons, after a heartbreaking triple OT loss to Foothill High the night before, started slow against the Alumni. The Dons finally separated on two 3 pointers by Bodner to give the Dons a 9 point lead heading into the break. The Dons started to pull away in the 2nd half despite the strong play of alumni Matt Thomas (’14) and Will Grace (’17), outscoring the Alumni 20-15 in the third quarter. Bodner continued his strong play in the 4th quarter with seven points, and Junior Jackson Aris-Dumas drained 2 three’s to help the Dons hold off the alumni. The Dons were led by Bodner’s 21, Juniors Scott Ruegg’s 13, Aris-Dumas’ 12, Graham Smith’s 12 and Jake Davis’ 10 points.
