Girls Golf Outmaneuvers Las Lomas Knights

The Lady Dons Golf Team continued their impressive run last week, notching a big conference win on Tuesday, October 7, by defeating the Las Lomas Knights 249–254 at Boundary Oaks Golf Course—despite the course playing tougher than usual.

While the final margin was close, the Dons established control early and never looked back. Junior Miracle Gu led the team with a stellar round of 45, showcasing her excellent iron play. Senior Jordan Huskins impressed around the greens, carding a 47, while Senior Taylor Baker and Freshman Cameron Koch both contributed solid 48s to put the victory in focus. Major contributions from Sophomores Cici Ning and Chloe Vignoles added key scores that helped seal the win and rounded out the true team effort.

Las Lomas made a late push, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Dons’ early dominance. The team’s focus, balance, and chemistry continue to shine as they enter the home stretch of the regular season.
