The Dons first home meet of the season against Cal High on Wednesday, March 4 was another one for the record book. Congratulations to Deonte Littlejohn for posting the current state leading mark in the discus with a new school record of 182’ 9” – his mark is also the 4th best throw in the USA and on planet earth for his age group.

Thank you to all of our volunteers – parents and students – who helped make the track meet a huge success, and a special thank you the Hurdle Crew. While not an official meet, it was an impressive win for our varsity boys and a great showing by our girls.
Special shout outs to
- Julian Hood, Harry Zimmerman, and Ilias Kaplanes-Jones for winning their races by diving at the finish line
- Olivia Kemp, for making it back to the track and helping out
- All of our 4x4s, for running hard and sticking out until the end
- Our girls for 4x1s, for adjusting on the fly and battling through adversity
