Dual Team Victories at Bob Warren Track Meet

On Pi Day, Saturday, March 14, 2026 Acalanes hosted the largest Bob Warren Invitational since the early 2000s. The meet ran on schedule and was a tremendous success, thanks to the work of our parents, students, and volunteers who stepped up to make it happen.

And the Dons showed up, with a double team victory. The Acalanes boys won with a 100-point victory, and the Acalanes girls also pulled off a .05 point win.

Some highlights from the meet include dual wins in the 1600, with Nevis Murphy taking first running a 5:22.59, and Harry Zimmerman posting a 4:37.72 winning time. We also won both the boys and girls 300 hurdles, with River Lockwood running a 40.54 and Olivia Kempwinning her first ever 300 hurdles race in 50.93.

To close out the meet, our boys 4×400 team of Julian Hood, Matthew Schwarz, Harry Zimmerman, and Benjamin Mickelson took first with 3:29.86, braving the heat.

Next up, the Dons host Clayton Valley Charter at home in our first league meet on Thursday at 3:30.
