In spite of rough winter conditions on Monday at Contra Costa Golf Course (lol), boys varsity golf defeated the competitive Miramonte team in the first in-league match of the season. Acalanes won by 9 strokes, with final score of 194-203. Low score for the Dons earned by Durham Vail (Jr) with a 37 (+1) followed closely by Naveen Ahuja (Jr) with a 38 (+2). Other Dons players included Isaac Topp (Jr) with a 39, Krish Veluthakkal (So) and Rocco Stassi (Jr) both with a 40, and Grant Gebhardt (Jr) with a 41.

Next up for the Dons – JV takes on Foothill this Friday at Rossmoor.
