AHS Swim Takes on College Park in Season Opener

The new scoreboard was ready for the meet today! Thank you AHS Boosters!

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon Wednesday as the Dons welcomed College Park for the season opening meet. First I want to acknowledge all the parents that work at each meet to make it happen – we have parent timers, parent starters, parents working the desk, and parents bringing snacks, setting up and taking everything down.  We need dozens of parents to run each meet and the meets don’t run without these volunteers.  Thank you swim parents!

The action started with the 200 Medley Relays.  The JV girls team of Maddy Maurer, Ella Schlehr, Mave McAlister and Indi Perry won, while the boys team took 2nd.
