
Acalanes delivered a gritty, high-energy road performance Monday afternoon, battling through a physical game and executing late to earn a 48–42 win over Campolindo in a tightly contested rivalry matchup.
Acalanes set the tone early, jumping out to a 16–9 lead in the opening quarter behind aggressive defense and strong rebounding. Campolindo responded to keep the game tight heading into halftime, but the Dons matched the intensity through the middle quarters. With the game still up for grabs late, Acalanes elevated its defensive pressure, controlled possessions, and made timely plays down the stretch to pull away and close out the win.
Drew Felder led Acalanes with 13 points and added 3 rebounds. Tade O’Keeffe followed with 11 points, contributing 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
Francesco Cangini chipped in 9 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists, while Zakai Kaplanes-Jones added 8 points, 3 rebounds, and a team-high 4 assists.
Inside, Bobby Ruhl anchored the defense with 4 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. Eli La Rotonda rounded out the effort with 3 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, helping control tempo and keep the offense organized.
