On a cold, foggy night at Acalanes with a solid crowd in attendance, the Dons battled Petaluma High School to a 1–1 draw. Caleb Nguyen got the start in goal and delivered a steady performance throughout the match.
Acalanes struck early, taking the lead in the 8th minute when Omri Noiman finished off a well-worked sequence of play. Crisp passing from Harrison Sheffler and Karsten Harmeyer opened up space, allowing Noiman to slot home the opening goal. The Dons carried the 1–0 advantage into halftime.
Petaluma answered shortly after the break, equalizing in the 43rd minute to level the score at 1–1. From there, the match turned into a defensive battle. Eli Romick and Aidan Parnell anchored the back line, while Nguyen made key plays in goal to preserve the draw and keep Petaluma off the board the rest of the way.
