
The Varsity Girls Tennis team continued their homestand on a very warm Tuesday afternoon, taking on perennial powerhouse Miramonte. In fact, Miramonte came into the contest 4-0 having only dropped 3 matches along the way, and played in a couple tournaments where they came in 2nd and 5th out of 32 teams. Although the girls put up a valiant effort, they ultimately fell 8-1.
On the singles side, Elisabetta Sokolova lost 6-2, 6-1 at Line 1, Aamena Shiplandler lost 6-2, 6-2 at Line 2, Grace Colaco lost 6-3, 6-1 at Line 3, Emily Roberts lost 6-0, 6-1 at Line 4, and Audrey Tseng lost 6-4, 6-3 at Line 5. Jasmine Taylor won the only match for the Dons on the day, pulling out a 6-1, 6-2 victory at Line 6. She was named player of the match.

On the doubles side, Lauren Foster and Ridhi Patel lost 6-1, 6-1 at Line 1, Sadie Moise and Grace Britto lost 6-3, 6-1 at Line 2, and Hetty Lofting and Riley Zirkel lost 6-4, 6-2 at Line 3. In the extended match, Molly Jones and Tatum Duff lost 8-5 in doubles.
