September 17, 2025, Acalanes H.S., Lafayette, CA — The Junior Varsity Men’s Water Polo Team at Acalanes continued their incredible Undefeated season with another nail-biting win on Wednesday night against the extremely tough San Marin High School Mustangs. The packed stands alternated between screams, groans, and cheers as the Dons ultimately prevailed with a narrow 12-11 win, continuing their 2025 Victory Streak. The depth of talent on this JV team is obvious with Goals scored by Juniors Thomas Butler-Kurimai & Wilson Daughters; Sophomores Max Musch & Ryan Gerhardt; and Freshmen Brad Budke, Mason Ross, Luke Wellen, and Ben Paulsen. Superstar Goalie Kingston Zolboo amazed the crowd with his fierce protection of the goal stopping multiple shots by the Mustangs, aided by the entire JV team playing very tough defense.
The JV Team heads north of Sacramento this weekend for the two-day Golden Eagle Invitational Tournament where they seek to continue their path of utter domination and bring home the Championship. GO DONS!
