On Wednesday, September 17th, the Acalanes Dons Girls’ Golf Team took on Northgate in a sizzling away match at Boundary Oaks Golf Course, where temperatures neared a blistering 100 degrees!

Despite the sweltering conditions, the Lady Dons—senior Taylor Baker, juniors Miracle Gu and Grace (GG) Gallagher, and sophomores Cici Ning and Chloe Vignoles—played with fierce determination. Though the team came up short against a tough Northgate squad, their effort was nothing short of inspiring.

Junior Miracle Gu led the charge with steady pars on holes 2, 3, 6, and 7, proving her skill under pressure. Junior GG Gallagher closed out strong, securing a par on the 9th hole to end the day on a high note.

The Dons showed heart and resilience, setting a solid foundation as they prepare for the upcoming Silverado Invitational Tournament at Silverado Resort on September 24th. Keep it up, ladies!
