If you’ve ever played Pachinko you know what it was like for the Varsity Dons Golf Team last week as they battled against Northgate at Contra Costa Country Club. You say spring, we say punched greens. In spite of the bumpy greens, the Dons prevailed winning the match 199-222. Topping the Acalanes leaderboard were Naveen Ahuja (So) with a 37, Brody Greenfield (Sr) with a 38, and Owen Curley (So) with a 40.
On the other side of town at Moraga Country Club, the JV team completed a season sweep of the Campolindo JV team on Wednesday. Final score 209-215. Leading the Dons were Ryan Weilbach (Fr) and Matthew McCallister (So), both shooting 39.
