Acalanes Swim faces Miramonte on Friday, 3/21
It was a lovely Friday afternoon as the Dons headed over to the green school to face the Mats in their pool. Here are some highlights!
The Varsity Girls 200 Medley team of Sadie Suppiger, Audrey Martin, Evya Smyth and Jessica Gerhardt took 1st with a CONS time of 1.57.97.
Charlie Holmes dropped 6 seconds in the JV Boys 200 Free, taking 3rd place.
Ella Del Rosario won the Varsity Girls 200 Free.
Adrian Anderson dropped 2.6 seconds in the JV Boys 100 IM, finishing 5th.
Sadie Suppiger won the Varsity Girls 200 IM in 2:13.51, just 0.73 off an NCS Automatic time!
Indi Perry was 2nd, and Lily Teicher was 5th in the JV Girls 50 Free.
Ella Schlehr won the JV Girls 100 free!
Kelsey Gunderson and Graham Maroney dropped over 15 seconds each in their JV 500 Free races!
Both Varsity 200 Free Relays went CONS – girls team of Sadie Suppiger, Jessica Gerhardt, Ellie Budke and Malin Stone went 1:46.28, and Andrew Tanimura, Wilson Daughters, Tony Yamamoto and Max Musch went 1:38.51!
Malin Stone won the Varsity 100 Back in a CONS time of 1:03.74.
The Girls Varsity 400 Free Relay team of Siena La Rotonda, Jessica Gerhardt, Ellie Budke and Malin Stone went CONS in 4:06.61.

Acalanes Swim Visits Benicia on 3/26
The weather was all over the place on Wednesday 3/26 as the Dons traveled across the bridge to face Benicia High School at the James Lemos Swim Center! This meet was a bit out of the ordinary since it was held not at the high school (which doesn’t have a pool), and did not use a timing system. Good ol’ stop watches took our swimmers’ times in this meet!
Here are some highlights:
The Boys Varsity 200 Medley Relay went CONS in 1:51.45.
Lachlan Tidd improved his 50 Free time in the Boys JV race to 25.48. Ella Schlehr and Jonathan Judson improved their 50 Fly times in the Boys and Girls JV races.
The Girls 200 Free Relay team went CONS in 1:50.97 and the Girls 400 Free Relay team went AUTO in 3:44.01!
Unfortunately I don’t have relay team names, otherwise I would give them all a shout out!
Next meet is an CAMPO on Friday, 4/11. GO DONS!
