Boys Varsity Lacrosse Cruises to Victory Over College Park 11-6

The Acalanes Dons showcased their skills Monday night at home against the College Park Falcons, securing an impressive 11-6 win. From start to finish, the Dons maintained control demonstrating their strength on both offense and defense.

The scoring opened with a goal from Jackson Tseng, setting the tone for the Dons’ offense. Jan Korzeniowski then took center stage, netting his first of four goals on the night and establishing an early dominance for the Dons. Grant Condy added his name to the scoresheet, followed by fellow sophomore Caleb Mason and another by Korzeniowski. Strong defense by TJ Cronin and goalie Kyle Sanftner held the Falcons to just one goal in the first half.

Up 5-1 heading into the third quarter, Jan Korzeniowski continued his stellar performance, adding his fourth and fifth goals of the night, followed by a nice goal from the Luke Dafferner. Great hustle and all-around play by midfielders Alex Cortez and Sam Bishop as well as the reliable Ian Sanftner at faceoff, gave the Dons lots of offensive possessions. Grant Condy used one of those possessions to find the back of the net again, and Jackson Tseng contributed his second goal of the game as well. Caleb Mason capped off the Dons’ scoring with his second goal, solidifying their commanding lead.

While the College Park Falcons fought hard, the Acalanes Dons were on point on this night, resulting in a well-deserved 11-6 victory for Acalanes night.
