The sun was shining Friday afternoon as the Dons JV Golf Team paid it forward in a match with Redwood Christian High School. This was Redwood Christian’s very first match as a high school program. They reached out to Acalanes, given the experience of our players, to see if we could help the new team get a taste of high school golf, show them the importance of golf etiquette, and give Redwood Christian a positive first-time match experience. We were happy to host the young team at Rossmoor, giving the Dons a chance to use their knowledge to help grow the love (and overcome the frustration!) of the game.
