With their NCAA basketball brackets submitted, the Acalanes Boys Varsity golf team headed to Boundry Oaks Golf Course Wednesday afternoon to take on the Las Lomas Knights. Despite the wind and dramatic sloping greens, the Dons played well and won the match 197-238.

Sophomore Naveen Ahuja led the Dons with a 35 (-1). That’s back-to-back 35s at Boundry Oaks for Naveen after last week’s match against Northgate. Rocco Stassi (So) continued his steady play shooting 38 and all the boys had some good shots that helped the team win.
Individual scores include: Naveen Ahuja 35, Rocco Stassi 38, Brody Greenfield (Sr) 40, Grant Gebhardt (So) 42, Owen Curley (So) 42, and Durham Vail (So) 46.

On the other side of town, the Acalanes Boys JV golf team met up at Rossmoor to take on Miramonte in a close match. Unfortunately, the Dons lost 220-218. Leading scorers for Acalanes include Krish Veluthakkal (Fr) 41, Isaac Topp (So) 42, and Anthony Mullin (So) 44.
