The Cougars came out strong, scoring two quick goals in the first half. However, Don’s defense held up, with #16 Grant Matter and #24 Gino Rubio controlling the backline.  In the second half, Acalanes went down another goal, but Owen Westin (#6) came up with a huge score (assist Coen Gilson) in the final minutes to keep the Cougars from a shutout, making the final score 1 – 3.
