The Dons faced the Cougars, in a fiercely contested match under frigid conditions in Moraga on Tuesday. The first half was a tightly contested affair, with both teams vying for possession. The opening 20 minutes saw numerous fouls called on both sides. However, the Dons gradually gained control, dominating the latter part of the half with strong ball possession and relentless pressure on the Cougar defense.
