The Lady Dons won the 3-day Marin Catholic Invitational Saturday with a 56 to 53 victory over a very tough St Ignatius squad. Great resiliency was shown, as the girls battled back from a double digit deficit to eventually prevail in the championship game. Winning this event was a solid start to the season, as the tournament was made up well regarded Private School programs, along with out of the area respected teams. Ariana Hallstrom and KK Lacanlale were named to the all tournament team, while Dulci Vail earned Tournament MVP. Solid performances were also seen by Lexi Le, Camreon Thornton, Natalie Frechman, Sofia Fernandez and Sienna Fernandez. After this event the girls sit at 3-0 on the season with 3 games on the schedule in the week ahead.
