The Lady Dons start another season with high hopes after not having one senior on the roster last season.  The girls have won 3 league titles in a row, going undefeated in league play the last 2 seasons.  In fact, Acalanes Girls Basketball has won 5 out of the last 6 league titles, with the only outlier being the covid year.  The girls come into the year as a top 5 ranked team in Northern California (Norcalpreps) and a high statewide ranking (Calhisports).  With 5 seniors returning, the goal for the team is the NCS Open Title, followed by a deep state run.  Senior leadership will be provided by KK Lacanlale, Sophie Chinn, Ariana Hallstrom, Dulci Vail and Natalie Frechman.  Juniors include Lexi Le, Sofia Fernandez and Cameron Thornton.  The one lone sophomore on the team in Aria Falahati and freshmen newcomers of Sienna Fernandez and Ava Noga.

The season kicks off with the Marin Catholic Invitational which includes a line-up of traditionally strong private powerhouses.  Come out and support the girls as it’s sure to be a fun season of high level basketball.
