The Varsity Boy’s Soccer team continued their impressive start to the season with a decisive 2-0 victory over Petaluma High on Saturday afternoon.
The first goal, a well-placed shot into the net by Colby Ebner, came after a slick combination play involving Eitan Romick and Zack Roder. Ebner’s second goal, a curling shot from the top of the box, was assisted by Elliot Van Ornum, who excelled at outside back throughout the game. The Dons’ defensive unit, anchored by strong performances from Hunter Crandall and Bryan Lurie in goal, maintained their solid form, securing their third consecutive clean sheet. The Dons could have easily put in additional chances with solid attempts by Ben Pecci, Omri Noiman, Jeremy Lara, Maor Ziskind and Luke Wilson.
The Dons will look to extend their winning streak when they face Sonoma Valley on Tuesday, December 17th at 7 PM.
