In a frosty season opener against the Dougherty Valley Wildcats, the Acalanes Dons battled to a 1-1 draw last night.  Braving low 40s temps, the Wildcats pounced first, taking the lead in the first half.  But the Dons weren’t about to freeze under pressure – Coen Gilson delivered a “Coen-cise” equalizer 10 minutes into the second half, igniting the sidelines.  The Dons held firm to finish the match on level terms, proving they’re ready to weather any storm this season.  Stay tuned for more “Don-minating” performances ahead!
