Acalanes was able to field two teams at the JV Tennis Tournament hosted by Freedom High School on October 26th.  The spirit and dedication of the entire JV Girls squad was on display as they battled through many matches over 12 hours!  Both teams had a lot of success, with one of our teams taking the victory in the tournament!  

Playing singles for the winning team were Audrey Tseng at line 1 and Phoebe LaBonge at line 2. On doubles, our players included Maddie Obertello, Lauren Anderson, Parker Ivory, Daisy Carysforth, Gemma Satterfield, Ava Bell, and Ruby Peters.  Gemma and Ava showed grace under pressure and clinched the win in a tiebreak!

Thanks to the efforts of our wonderful coaching team of Lee Ann Gove, Gary Fiammengo, and Lynn Donoghue, the JV team finished the season with a winning record.  The tournament was a fitting end to this successful season that saw so much success, teamwork, and growth in all of the players.  Thank you to all of the coaches, players, and parents!
