The Girls Varsity Tennis team closed out the regular season on Tuesday, cruising to a 9-0 victory over College Park, upping their record to 6-8 on the season. Before the matches, the team celebrated Senior Night for the five Seniors; Sienna Moise, Piper Duff, Kate Widmann, Hanna Wisniewska, and Jadith LaBonge. The event included short presentations, family photo ops, and refreshments and sweet treats. Huge thank you to Amy Jones for organizing!
After the Senior Night Festivities, the girls took to the courts. On the singles side, Aamena Shipchandler played Line 1, Piper Duff Line 2, Emily Roberts Line 3, and Grace Colaco Line 4. Sienna Moise, who normally plays Line 5, switched to doubles so she could play her final regular season match alongside her sister Sadie Moise. Kate Widmann filled in at Line 5, and Molly Jones played Line 6. All cruised to lopsided straight set victories. The doubles teams also achieved a sweep as Riley Zirkel and Grace Britto played Line 1, Sienna and Sadie Moise Line 2, and Hanna Wisniewska and Jadith LaBonge Line 3.
