Boys JV Water Polo started the season STRONG in last week’s games! On Wednesday, August 28, Acalanes won 14-11 versus Castro Valley in this exciting season’s first game. Seasoned Juniors Owen Hulst and Ethan Zolboo scored a whopping 4 goals EACH, while Sophomore Thomas Butler was right behind them with 3 of his own.  Incoming Freshmen, Gavin Lee and Max Musch, each scored their first goals ever for The Dons, while the Goalie position — still undetermined for final assignment — was rotated between Kingston Zolboo  (Freshman) and Thomas Butler (Sophomore). They both made impressive blocks and well-placed passes. 

The winning streak continued on Friday, August 30th by winning 12-6 against Dougherty Valley. Owen Hulst continues to dominate the scoreboard with 5 goals and Freshman Ryan Gelhardt scored his first 2 goals for The Dons. The team supported their other teammates and additional goals were made by Malleus Kadai, Ethan Zolboo, and Wilson Daughters.
