The freshman Don’s are having fun this season! They recorded another league victory beating the Alhambra Bulldogs on Wednesday night.

Acalanes got off to a fast start with a flurry of 3’s by Anthony Heglie, Kaya Wingate and Shea Stahl. Oliver MacLeod pulled down multiple rebounds and Sam Phillips played great defense. The Dons took the first quarter 15-2 and never looked back. Acalanes was up 28-10 at half, 34-15 by the end of the 3rd, and finished the game 46-25.

Many players helped win this one. Nine players scored and nine players made assists. Ten players collected rebounds, and eight players had a block, deflection or steal. Kaya Wingate had 11 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds. Dane Schurhoff led in rebounding with 5, and Paul Bacon and Sam Phillips both had 4 steals.
