The Girls participated in their first scrimmage Jamboree with DAL. Acalanes went undefeated, not letting anyone score against them.

The team played well for just starting practice 10 days ago. They were the smallest team on the field with only 11 girls. These 11 girls played their hearts out and showed a lot of promise. They should only get better as the season starts. Some highlights were their first TD against Berean Christian by Monica Dikova. Acalanes final game was against Las Lomas and scored 3 amazing TDs. Dakota Goyert, center delivered the ball to Addie Martin and she threw 2 touchdowns to Monica Dikova and a lateral to Kelly Todhunter who ran the last TD in. It was a great start to the program.

We are hoping for a big crowd for our scrimmage game on Thursday, September 7 at 7pm to cheer on the Dons as we host San Ramon Valley. Official games start every Wednesday after Labor Day. If anyone is interested in playing, all girls are welcome to come try out for the team. GO DONS!
