Yesterday, we celebrated 30 incredibly cool and self-possessed young men and women who are continuing to pursue their athletic endeavors in College. Three of these beautiful athletes come from our own Track & Field family.

Please join me in celebrating and congratulating:

Luca Mathias is going to Chapman University in Orange, CA. Luca is going to study Kinesiology and will continue his training in the 110m hurdles and 100m dash.

Carly Harriman is going to Chico State to study Business Management and focus on the Heptathlon. The event consists of the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m sprint, long jump, javelin throw, and 800m run.

Portia Seymour is going to Chapman University to study Kinesiology with a focus in Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. She will continue to focus on the 200m and 4x100m relay as well as the triple jump and the ever constant challenge to get over the 5′ High Jump bar!!
