It was a cold Friday night and the lady Dons were up in Moraga for their annual rivalry game. The Dons jumped out to a 5 to 1 lead. However Campo came back to make it 5 to 3. At that point Acalanes called time out. From that point forward the Dons outscored the cougars 11 to 0. 

It was a brilliant display by the Lady Dons. Campbell Evans scored four goals, Emily Roberts scored 3 and Lucca Dibiasse and Cameron Thornton had two. Several other players scored including Reese Imrie, Kate Uffleman, Claire Zimmerman, Charlotte Gellman, Taylor Mikalis, Lucy Thomas and Annie Baker.

Assists were made by several players including Nina von Schaffer and Lucca and Cameron.

It was a wonderful win over an overmatched Campo team. 

In Tuesday night’s action, Acalanes JV played nearly a perfect game against a tough Piedmont team.  Acalanes was never behind but a pesky Piedmont team kept fighting back until they were tied at 6.  That is where the Dons turned it on with two goals by Cameron, Lucca, Campbell and Reese, solidifying the Dons win. Emily, Emme, Maddie and others also scored. Claire and Taylor Mikalis were on all of the ground balls and clearly were the defining point for this win! Assists by Christina and Lucca caused the Dons to run away from a tough Piedmont team.  The Dons should be very proud of the way they played in this tough game!

These girls are amazing and may be the greatest JV girls lacrosse team ever. GO DONS!
