The JV team went up to Novato to take on a tough and gritty San Marin team who has one of the best programs in the Bay Area. It was an exciting and close game throughout but these Lady Dons were not going to be denied. The team gutted it out and won 10 to 9, bringing the Dons’ record to 8 wins and 1 loss. This is truly a special Dons team. The team never was behind jumping out to an early lead only to see San Marin fight back to tie the game at 6. However the Dons rallied to take the lead and worked for a hard fought and incredible victory. 

The team was led in scoring Campbell Evans with five goals, Emily Roberts with two goals, Claire Zimmerman with two goals and two assists and Cameron Thornton with a goal and an assist. There were also assists from Charlotte Gellman, Reese Imrie, and others. Other offensive contributions came from Emme Cain, Taylor Miklas, Christina Hageboeck, Anne Baker and Lucy Gellman. The defense was led by Jasmine Frost, Audrey Petross, Hanna Burks, Matty Rumberg, Eva McGrath and Emme Martin. Sara Hession did an amazing job in goal saving 10 shots!

It was a wonderful victory for the JV Girls lacrosse team. Go Dons!
