When a season ends with a loss in the playoffs it’s always tough to write the game recap post. When there’s a controversial call that impacts the game, it’s even tougher. See how the Boys Soccer poster described a tough call in their final playoff game this year:

With less than 2 minutes in regulation time, the AR flagged off sides on Ukiah but the play continued resulting in a foul in the box. The center ref waived off the offsides infraction after conferring with the AR, much to the dismay of the Acalanes players and fans. This game-changing call allowed Ukiah to tie the game after a successful PK. After a short break, the first 10 minute golden goal overtime began.
