On Saturday, the Dons game against Newark High started out as a defensive battle, teams appeared equally matched with the first half ending in 0-0. In the 2nd half, the Dons broke it open starting with sophomore, Jonny Roth assisting to his brother, senior, Eli Roth off the corner kick. A rebound off a pK went to sophomore, Niko White who put it in the back of the net for an insurance goal. Senior, Andres Evrenosoglu followed within minutes from the right wing for the 3rd goal with assist from Eli Roth. Capping off the scoring flurry was junior, Lucas Dissman off an assist from sophomore, Colby Ebner. Senior, Dylan Olson kept a clean sheet for another stellar goaltending performance. The back line anchored by senior, Zach Appel and sophomores, Eitan Romick & Ben Lacayo. Eitan Romick received “Man of the Match.” And Dons once again win, final score 4-0! This week: Tuesday, 7pm at home vs Ygnacio Valley High. Thursday, 7pm at Northgate. Friday, 4pm at De La Salle against St. Mary’s High.
