Tess Gundacker was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Dons past Campolindo 19-7 on Tuesday.  Gundacker drove in runs on a home run in the second and a home run in the fourth.
The Dons grabbed an early lead.  Lady Dons scored on an passed ball during Emmi Cronin’s at bat, a double by Scarlett Popplardo, a double by Esa Orman, a groundout by Lulu Levy, and a double by Sophia Alvarado in the first inning.
The Dons tallied six runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower by the Dons was led by Popplardo, Orman, Gundacker, and Alvarado, all driving in runs in the inning.

Lana Cerejo was on the rubber for the Dons. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing three hits and striking out three.

The Dons launched four home runs on the day. Alvarado went deep in the fourth inning. Gundacker had a long ball in the second and fourth innings. Orman went yard in the third inning.

Lady Dons racked up 18 hits on the day.  Orman, Gundacker, Emme Young, Levy, Popplardo, and Alvarado all managed multiple hits for Lady Dons.  Levy, Young, Gundacker, and Orman each collected three hits to lead Lady Dons
