On Wednesday, the Aca Dons took to the track and field for the final dual meet of the season! The competition was fast and furious and athletes from both sides came to WIN!! The Boys were victorious with a 98-38 win awarding them the Division Championship. The Girls held their own and left their hearts and souls on the track and field, but finished with a 54-82 point loss ending their season in Second Place behind Campolindo.
In the end, new names were added to the Record Board: In Women’s, Olivia Williams crushed the 3200 with a new school record of 10:24:85.
In Men’s, Paul Kuhner now holds the record for 100m – 10.82s and adds his name to the top three 200m with a time of 22.24s. Trevor Rogers adds his name to the leader board in Long Jump with an impressive 22′ 41/4″. And Paul and Trevor, along with Evan Torres and Kyle Bielawski now hold the record for the 4x100m with a time of 41.66s.
Post-Season training starts tomorrow to prepare for the DAL Trials at Campolindo on Saturday, April 30th and the DAL Finals on Saturday, May 7th.
