Boys Varsity Tennis Team Gets Back on Track: Acalanes 7, College Park 2

In DAL league play, Acalanes improves to 1-1 after a win Tuesday over College Park.  The depth of the Acalanes varsity boys’ tennis team was on display.  Four of the six singles players won in straight sets, and we swept the three doubles lines.

Zach Snyder played a flawless and dominant match not giving up a single game. Saylen Cardoni’s first varsity singles match also resulted in a decisive straight-set victory.  Tyler Holder and Liam McGlynn kept their undefeated streak going with a third consecutive win.

The boys were asked to step up a rung in the seedings as we await the return of Tyler Toni, the team’s top player, who is missing from action due to a back injury.  We are hoping for his return next week. Again, thanks to all the families who showed up to support the team.  We have one more home match this week: Las Lomas on March 17.  We then go on the road for five straight matches: Campolindo on March 22 and Miramonte on March 24.  Go Dons!
