The JV Lady Dons looked to avenge a 30 point loss the last time they faced Clayton Valley Charter. CVC started off strong, but the Dons played tough defense and hit some clutch three pointers to keep the game within range. At halftime, the Ugly Eagles led 26-18. The Dons entered the second half with renewed energy and a fighting spirit. Down 10 points the Dons made a quick  comeback thanks to a clutch three pointer by Freshman Erica Mc Broom followed by a layup and a converted steal by Freshman Claire Zimmerman to take the lead. The teams traded baskets and Acalanes was up by one point with 40 seconds to go. The Dons fouled CVC and ended up losing 41- 40 after the Ugly Eagles hit both free throws. It was an all around excellent team effort on defense and the starting five carried the team in points:
