Acalanes started strong against Clayton Valley in their season finale, with a lot of hustle and strong rebounding. In the end, turnovers cost the Dons in what ended as a 50-43 loss.

The best sequence of the game came in the 3rd quarter when the Dons went on a 10-0 run to take a 26-24 lead. Jaden McClane unleashed his power game with a low post bucket and a couple free throws. Liam Gallacher and Liam Krackeler added transition lay-ups, and then Liam Gallacher had a couple more free throws. The Ugly Eagles pulled back ahead in the 4th quarter, until Jake Elerts hit a clutch 3 pointer to make it a 2 point game, before Clayton Valley was able to ice the game down the stretch.
