The Lady Dons varsity team started their season Saturday with a victory on the road against Windsor by a score of 45 to 32. It was a game where the girls took control early and maintained a modest lead throughout the first half. At halftime the margin was 7 points, however, a quick run in the 3rd quarter stretched the lead to double digits. The girls never looked back from there and finished with a comfortable victory. Karyss Lacanlale led all scorers with 17 points, Dulci Vail added 12 points, Sophie Chinn scored 9 points with 11 rebounds and Emily Du finished with 7 points.

The girls are in action next on Thursday in the very tough Marin Catholic Tournament.
